Delinquency Rate Climbs Among Miss. Homeowners
WASHINGTON (WTVA) -- New numbers show more Mississippians are falling behind on their mortgage payments.

According to the U.S. Mortgage Bankers ssociation, the state's delinquency rate is now up to nearly 14.5 percent.

That's an increase of nearly a point and a half over the past three months.

For a mortgage to be considered delinquent, payment has to be at least 30 days past due.
